The family wanted more than another piece of merchandise.
After Fred Sasakamoose passed away in 2020, unauthorized tribute apparel began appearing online. His son, Neil Sasakamoose, wanted the family’s official tribute to be created with respect, meaning and direct family involvement.
Neil approached Prince Albert entrepreneur Aidan Anderson and IN2R Clothing and Apparel. The family connected with Aidan’s authenticity, IN2R’s local roots and the brand’s commitment to challenging the stigma around depression and anxiety.
Aidan created the exclusive “Legends Live Forever” design around Fred’s number 21. The authorized collection included limited-edition shirts, hoodies and hats and was released only once.
